Screening Plagiarism

All manuscripts submitted to International Journal of Education and Learning Studies (IJELS)—published by PT. Intelektiva Global Nusantara—must be original and free from plagiarism. To ensure academic integrity and originality, the journal routinely screens all submitted manuscripts for plagiarism using Turnitin before the peer-review process.

Authors are encouraged to conduct an initial similarity check prior to submission. The journal applies a maximum similarity threshold of 20%. Manuscripts with a similarity index exceeding this limit will be returned to the author(s) for revision or may be rejected depending on the extent and nature of the overlap.

The editorial team reserves the right to perform additional plagiarism checks using Turnitin at any stage of the editorial process, including before peer review and prior to final publication. Any detected plagiarism, including self-plagiarism or redundant publication, will result in immediate rejection of the manuscript in accordance with the journal’s publication ethics policy.
