Starting from Volume 2, Number 3 (2026), IJELS adjusted its manuscript template in accordance with Permendiktisaintek Nomor 9 Tahun 2026, the Regulation of the Minister of Higher Education, Science, and Technology on the Accreditation of Scientific Journals.

As part of this adjustment, the ethical and transparency declaration statements—previously positioned at the front of the manuscript template—have been relocated to the back of the manuscript, in accordance with the updated regulation. The statements have also been revised as follows:

• Author Contributions – Describe each author’s contribution using the CRediT taxonomy.
• Funding Statement – Declare all research funding or state “This research received no external funding.”
• Ethical Statement – Provide ethics approval and informed consent details for studies involving human or animal participants, or state “Not applicable”.
• Data Availability Statement – Indicate where supporting data can be accessed or explain any restrictions.
• Declaration of Competing Interests – Declare any potential conflicts of interest or state “The authors declare no competing interests.”
• Generative AI Use Statement – Disclose any use of generative AI tools in the research or writing process, or state “Not applicable.”

Starting from Volume 2, Number 2 (2026), IJELS introduced a redesigned journal cover to strengthen its academic identity in the field of education and learning studies.

The updated visual identity presents a more focused representation of educational scholarship, learning innovation, and knowledge development. This change also reflects the journal's evolving scholarly direction and commitment to improving its international positioning.

IJELS introduced separate manuscript templates for Original Research Articles and Review Articles to improve manuscript clarity, structural consistency, and alignment with international academic publishing standards.

The IJELS manuscript template was revised to strengthen compliance with internationally recognized research integrity and publication ethics standards.

IJELS implemented substantial improvements to its manuscript template to enhance readability, international orientation, and consistency across published articles.

• Removal of the Indonesian-language abstract.
• Addition of copyright information.
• Integration of the Creative Commons license.
• Improvement of academic writing and manuscript preparation guidelines.

IJELS established collaboration with the Faculty of Education and Teacher Training, Universitas Pelita Bangsa to strengthen academic cooperation, editorial development, publication quality, and scholarly dissemination in education and learning studies.

The International Journal of Education and Learning Studies was officially established by PT. Intelektiva Global Nusantara. Editorial preparation, journal policy development, website configuration, and manuscript planning were subsequently undertaken for the journal's first publication cycle in 2025.

Continuous Development

IJELS continues to improve its editorial policies, peer-review procedures, author guidelines, manuscript templates, ethical standards, digital preservation, indexing visibility, and publication infrastructure to support credible, transparent, and internationally oriented scholarly communication.
