Author Retraction
The International Journal of Education and Learning Studies (IJELS), established in 2025 by PT. Intelektiva Global Nusantara, strictly prohibits violations of academic and professional ethics, including multiple submissions, false authorship claims, plagiarism, and data fabrication.
Retraction is an established mechanism in scholarly publishing to correct significant errors or ethical violations. IJELS follows recognized best practices for article retraction in accordance with international academic standards.
The editorial board conducts a thorough investigation of any alleged misconduct. Authors will be notified and given an opportunity to respond. If no response is received within a reasonable time, the Editor will consult with the editorial team and advisory board to determine the appropriate action.
- A formal retraction statement titled “Retraction: (article title)”, signed by authors, editors, and an advisory board member.
- The retraction notice is issued in both English.
- The retraction letter is published before the original article, using the same page number with a unique suffix.
- The original article remains available but is clearly marked with a “Retracted” watermark.
- The abstract is replaced with a retraction notice and keywords are removed.
- The retraction notice appears in the journal’s table of contents as part of the front matter.
This policy ensures transparency, accountability, and integrity in scholarly communication, while maintaining the reliability of the academic record.
