Sastra sebagai Media Edukasi Ketahanan Pangan: Literasi Gizi Anak Sekolah Dasar melalui Dongeng Misi Rahasia Piring Pelangi

Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan memberikan edukasi mengenai pentingnya gizi, keberagaman pangan, dan pola hidup sehat melalui dongeng Misi Rahasia Piring Pelangi. Kegiatan dilaksanakan pada Kamis, 20 Agustus 2026, di UPT SD 234 Pelemwatu, Menganti, Gresik, dengan melibatkan 70 siswa dan berlangsung selama 45 menit. Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah storytelling interaktif yang memadukan penyampaian dongeng, tanya jawab, yel-yel, dan interaksi langsung dengan siswa. Data kegiatan diperoleh melalui observasi menggunakan 15 indikator yang mencakup perhatian, ketertarikan, antusiasme, partisipasi, serta respons terhadap pesan gizi dan pola hidup sehat. Hasil observasi menunjukkan bahwa 14 dari 15 indikator teramati selama kegiatan. Siswa memiliki perhatian terhadap cerita serta partisipasi aktif ketika menjawab pertanyaan dan mengikuti aktivitas interaktif. Siswa juga menunjukkan respons terhadap pesan mengenai sarapan, makanan bergizi dan beragam, konsumsi sayur dan buah, pembatasan makanan dan minuman manis, air putih, kebersihan, aktivitas fisik, dan tidur yang cukup. Meskipun demikian, siswa masih mengalami kesulitan untuk tetap tertib hingga akhir kegiatan. Kegiatan ini menunjukkan bahwa dongeng dapat menjadi medium yang menarik untuk membangun literasi gizi anak yang korelatif dengan isu ketahanan pangan.
