ShareAlike (SA)

When distributing adapted material, users must license their adapted contributions under CC BY-SA 4.0 or another license permitted under its ShareAlike compatibility provisions.

Indication of Changes

Modifications, translations, or adaptations must be identified where applicable.

No Additional Restrictions

Users may not impose legal terms or technological restrictions that prevent others from exercising permissions provided by the license.

6. Copyright Ownership and Publishing Rights

Authors retain copyright and full publishing rights to their scholarly work without transferring copyright or granting exclusive publishing rights to IJCSE or its publisher.

Authors grant the journal a non-exclusive right of first publication and permission to publish, archive, preserve, distribute, and index the official Version of Record.

Copyright applicable to published articles is separate from the intellectual property rights associated with the journal website, logo, and other publisher-owned materials.

7. Repository and Self-Archiving

IJCSE permits authors to deposit the submitted manuscript, accepted manuscript, and published Version of Record in institutional repositories, academic websites, subject repositories, and other scholarly platforms.

No embargo period is imposed on author self-archiving.

Authors are encouraged to identify manuscript versions clearly and include appropriate bibliographic information or a DOI link to the final publication where available.

8. Indexing, Crawling, and Text and Data Mining

IJCSE permits search engines, scholarly databases, indexing services, institutional repositories, preservation networks, and academic software systems to access, crawl, harvest, index, and analyze publicly available publication metadata and licensed article content for lawful purposes.

The journal supports lawful text and data mining, machine-readable discovery, and academic analysis according to applicable licenses and technical standards.

Permission to crawl and index scholarly content does not guarantee inclusion in any specific indexing service.

9. Third-Party Materials and Community Documentation

Community service articles may contain photographs, educational resources, training modules, figures, program documents, or other materials owned by authors, community partners, participating institutions, or third parties.

Materials excluded from the article's CC BY-SA 4.0 license must be clearly identified through appropriate copyright and attribution statements.

The open-access license does not override copyright, privacy, informed consent, or other applicable rights involving students, teachers, community participants, or other identifiable individuals.

Publication of identifiable images or personal information must comply with applicable permissions and ethical requirements. Consent to participate in a program is not necessarily equivalent to consent for public dissemination or unrestricted reuse of identifiable documentation.

10. Licensing Transparency and Publication Metadata

IJCSE identifies its applicable open-access license and copyright ownership in its public policies and aims to ensure consistent licensing information in article landing pages, full-text publications, and scholarly metadata.

The journal's Open Access Policy, Copyright Policy, publishing agreements, and OJS licensing settings must remain consistent and must not impose additional restrictions contrary to the CC BY-SA 4.0 license.

11. Open Access References

Open Access Commitment

IJCSE is committed to immediate and equitable access to educational community service scholarship. Through CC BY-SA 4.0 licensing, author copyright retention, and open dissemination without embargo, the journal supports responsible knowledge exchange, community empowerment, and the long-term accessibility of published scholarly contributions.
