Publication Ethics and Malpractice Statement

The Indonesian Journal of Community Service in Education (IJCSE) , published by PT. Intelektiva Global Nusantara, is committed to maintaining the highest standards of publication ethics and preventing all forms of publication malpractice.

This Publication Ethics and Malpractice Statement is developed in accordance with the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) Core Practices and serves as the ethical guideline for editors, editorial board members, reviewers, authors, and the publisher involved in the publication process.

Principles of Publication Ethics

Articles published in IJCSE contribute to the advancement of scientific knowledge in educational community service and community engagement. Therefore, every published manuscript should represent an original, accurate, transparent, and ethically conducted scholarly contribution.

All parties involved in the publication process—including authors, editors, reviewers, editorial board members, and the publisher—are expected to uphold the principles of integrity, objectivity, fairness, transparency, confidentiality, accountability, and respect for intellectual property.

Editorial Integrity

The editorial team is committed to ensuring that every manuscript is evaluated solely on its academic merit, originality, methodological quality, ethical standards, and relevance to the journal's scope. Editorial decisions are made independently and objectively without discrimination based on race, gender, nationality, ethnicity, religion, institutional affiliation, sexual orientation, citizenship, or political beliefs.

Ethical Responsibility

All participants in the publication process are expected to:

  • Maintain academic honesty and research integrity.
  • Respect confidentiality throughout the editorial and peer-review process.
  • Avoid plagiarism, data fabrication, data falsification, duplicate publication, inappropriate authorship, and undisclosed conflicts of interest.
  • Comply with applicable ethical standards for research involving human participants, communities, or sensitive information.
  • Cooperate fully with the editorial office if corrections, clarifications, retractions, or ethical investigations become necessary.
Commitment to COPE Principles
IJCSE follows the ethical principles and recommendations established by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE). Allegations of research misconduct, plagiarism, unethical publication practices, or other ethical concerns will be handled fairly, confidentially, and transparently in accordance with COPE guidelines and the journal's editorial policies.
