SUBMISSION
Author Retraction
Indonesian Journal of Community Service in Education (IJCSE) was established in 2025 by PT. Intelektiva Global Nusantara. Infringements of professional ethical standards—such as multiple submissions, false claims of authorship, plagiarism, data fabrication, and similar misconduct—are strictly prohibited in IJCSE.
Occasionally, a retraction may be issued to correct significant errors in submission or publication. Retraction of an article—either by the author(s) or by the editorial team under guidance from the scholarly community—is a recognized practice in academic publishing. IJCSE adopts established best practices for article retractions in accordance with the guidelines of recognized academic and library organizations.
The editorial board will conduct a thorough investigation of any alleged violation of publication ethics. The author(s) will be notified of the issue and presented with the supporting evidence. They will be given an opportunity to respond and offer clarification or corrections. If the editorial team cannot reach the author(s) within a reasonable time, the Editor will consult with other editorial members and the Editorial Advisory Board to determine the appropriate course of action.
Standards for Article Retraction in IJCSE include:
- A formal retraction statement, titled “Retraction: (article title)”, signed by the author(s), editor(s), and at least one member of the Editorial Advisory Board.
- The retraction notice will be issued in both English and Indonesian by the IJCSE editorial board.
- The retraction letter (including the reasons for retraction and any comments from the academic community) will be published before the original article, using the same page number as the original article’s first page but marked with a unique suffix (e.g., 45-ed-1, 45-ed-2, etc.).
- The original article will be retained but clearly marked with a “Retracted” watermark across all pages. This updated PDF will replace the previous version on the journal website.
- The article abstract will be replaced with a retraction notice explaining the reason for retraction, and the keywords will be removed.
- The retraction notice will also appear in the table of contents of the journal issue in which it is published, as part of the Front Matter.
