Author Retraction

Indonesian Journal of Community Service in Education (IJCSE) is committed to maintaining the integrity of the scholarly record. When necessary, the journal will issue corrections, expressions of concern, or retractions to ensure that published literature remains accurate, transparent, and trustworthy.

This policy follows the recommendations of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) and internationally recognized best practices for handling publication misconduct and post-publication corrections.

A published article may be retracted when reliable evidence demonstrates that:

• The findings are unreliable due to data fabrication, falsification, or major methodological errors.
• The article contains plagiarism or substantial unattributed overlap with previously published work.
• The manuscript has been submitted or published elsewhere without appropriate disclosure (duplicate publication).
• Authorship has been intentionally misrepresented.
• The publication violates research ethics, copyright, or other accepted standards of scholarly publishing.

Allegations of publication misconduct are investigated carefully by the Editorial Board. Authors will be informed of the concerns and given a reasonable opportunity to provide explanations, supporting evidence, or corrections before any editorial decision is made. When appropriate, the Editorial Board may consult reviewers, institutional representatives, or independent experts.

If retraction is determined to be necessary, the journal will:

• Publish a formal retraction notice explaining the reason for retraction.
• Link the retraction notice to the original article and vice versa.
• Clearly identify the article as Retracted on the journal website.
• Retain the original article online to preserve the scholarly record, while applying a visible "Retracted" watermark on every page.
• Notify relevant indexing and abstracting services whenever applicable.

Retractions are intended to correct the scholarly record rather than punish authors. Every investigation is conducted fairly, confidentially, objectively, and transparently, with decisions based solely on the available evidence and established publication ethics.
