Journal History

IMPACT: Jurnal Pengabdian Masyarakat Multidisipliner was established in 2026 as a scholarly publication platform dedicated to disseminating the results, innovations, practices, and measurable impacts of community service activities across various disciplines.

Establishment and Background

The establishment of the journal was motivated by the increasing need for a credible and accessible academic publication that specifically accommodates multidisciplinary community service programs. Community service activities generate practical innovations, empowerment models, appropriate technologies, educational interventions, health initiatives, economic development programs, and other forms of social contribution that deserve to be documented and disseminated through a scientific publication.

The journal was founded to connect academic knowledge with community needs by providing authors with an opportunity to publish evidence-based community service activities. Through this platform, lessons learned, implementation strategies, program outcomes, community responses, and sustainable impacts can be shared with broader academic and professional communities.
