Open Access Policy

IMPACT: Jurnal Pengabdian Masyarakat Multidisipliner is a fully open-access journal. All published articles are made freely and permanently available online immediately upon publication without subscription charges, access fees, registration requirements, or embargo periods.

This policy reflects the journal’s commitment to broad and equitable access to scholarly knowledge, particularly research and community service practices that can benefit academics, practitioners, institutions, policymakers, communities, and the general public.

Immediate Open Access

The journal provides immediate open access to the full text of every article from the date of publication. Readers may access, read, download, copy, share, print, search, link to, and use published articles in accordance with the applicable Creative Commons license.

No embargo period is imposed on published content. Article abstracts, full texts, supplementary materials, and publication metadata are made publicly accessible through the journal platform.

Self-Archiving Policy

Authors are permitted to deposit and distribute their manuscripts through personal websites, institutional repositories, subject repositories, academic networking platforms, scholarly profiles, or other lawful archives.

  • Submitted version: may be deposited before or during the editorial process.
  • Accepted version: may be deposited after acceptance without an embargo period.
  • Published version: may be deposited and shared immediately after publication, with complete citation details and a link to the official journal version or DOI.

Open Access and Publication Fees

Open access to published articles is provided to all readers regardless of whether the journal applies an Article Processing Charge or other publication fee.

Any applicable fees, exemptions, waivers, payment procedures, and refund conditions are stated transparently on the journal’s Article Processing Charge page. Payment does not influence editorial screening, peer review, acceptance, or rejection decisions.

Third-Party Materials

The journal’s Creative Commons license applies only to materials for which the authors hold the necessary rights. Photographs, figures, instruments, datasets, trademarks, maps, illustrations, quotations, or other third-party materials may be subject to separate copyright or licensing conditions. Users must obtain permission directly from the relevant copyright holder when reuse is not covered by the applicable license or a legal exception.

Digital Preservation and Permanent Access

The journal is committed to maintaining permanent access to published scholarly content. Articles, publication metadata, and issue archives are maintained through the journal platform and may be preserved through institutional repositories, digital archiving systems, or recognized preservation networks.

In the event that the journal is no longer published, reasonable measures will be taken to ensure that previously published content remains accessible through appropriate digital preservation arrangements.

No Subscription or Registration Required

Readers are not required to create an account, register, subscribe, or provide personal information to access published articles. User registration is required only for activities such as manuscript submission, editorial management, and peer review.
